The Apple Express Tour & Taste Ride

Sit back, relax and take in all the beauty the orchard has to offer on  a tractor tour through the orchard! 

  • Taste in-season fruit & preserves
  • Pick Your Own fruit (seasonal only). Fruit picked to take-away is $5kg
  • Duration approx. 1 hour
  • Availability: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 10am
  • Maximum 25 participants can board the Apple Express
  • Add cider tasting after your tour for $10
  • Add a picnic or Harvest platter lunch after your tour

Adults  $30, Kids (5-12 years) $23

The Farmer’s Walking Tour & Taste

Take a stroll with us through our orchards while we whittle off a few yarns about fruit growing and the characters of our 80 year old orchard.  

  • Seasonal fruit & preserve tasting included
  • Duration approx. 45 minutes
  • Availability: Weds, Thurs, Fri, Sat 11am
  • Add cider tasting after your tour for $10
  • Add a delicious picnic or Harvest platter after your tour for $30
  • Booking required 5 days in advance

The Seniors Tour

Our tours are perfect for seniors! 
Whether it’s the Apple Express tour that captures your interest, or the Farmer’s Walking tour, our guide will be sure to deliver the most wonderful afternoon with lots to taste!

  • Seasonal Fruit and Jam tasting included
  • Cider tasting can be combined any tour for an additional fee of $10

Tour Lunches

After your tour, soak in the view in the Harvest Room and taste a range of our sparkling or traditional ciders. Then take the time to enjoy a scrumptious picnic or Harvest platter overlooking the orchard.


* The tour lunch offer is available for the full tour contingent only. Kids meals available 

   Disability Access

Core Cider is frequented by disability service providers who take their clients for a gorgeous day out in the Perth Hills amongst nature. Core have a number of initiatives to service these valued clients.

Some of our inclusive and accessible features:

  • Two mobility parking spots directly adjacent to the Orchard Bistro (take the first entrance)
  • A mobility parking spot for access to the Garden area downstairs (take the second entrance)
  • Van and bus drop-off in front of the Orchard Bistro (take the first entry)
  • There are fully accessible bathrooms for the Garden area and the upstairs Orchard Bistro and Harvest Room
  • Tables which can be moved to accommodate wheelchairs
  • Accessible and compliant handrails for all parts of the venue
  • The choice of inside and outside dining for all patrons needless of their disability
  • Customer training – Core staff are trained to be considerate and accommodating of the extra time it might take for a person with particular disability to do or say something. They will readily offer assistance
